A fun weekend was enjoyed by the corps at the Fairmont Hot Springs Ski Resort in British Columbia followed by a day in Calgary at the PPCLI Museum.
The trip was made possible by the support of our Parent Support Committee, who provided most of the funds, raised by the cadets to finance the trip. The 3rd rd Canadian Division Training Centre for supported us with a bus – thank-you!
Big thanks to Lt Nitasha Anderson, 2Lt Shawna Dyck, Phil Neudorf, Ron Hawco, Hugh Hayes for coming along to help supervise and assist the cadets.
Day 1 – The cadets travelled from Wainwright and arrived at Fairmount Hotsprings
Day 2 – The group started their morning on the hill with lessons and then time to ski for the rest of the day, followed by time to enjoy the hot springs after the day on the slopes!
Day 3 – The cadets travelled to Calgary from Fairmount
Day 4 – The cadets toured the PPCLI Miltary Museum in Calgary and then head back home.
Overall, a great time was had by all!
